Sparkling Summer Cocktails

 Summer entertaining is now in full swing and with the 4th of July just a few days away, I’m jumping right in with two sparkling cocktails in a red white & blue patriotic theme that are a must add to your holiday menu!

 Both feature sparkling wine from Chandon’s American Summer limited edition line, in the gorgeous and fitting nautical prints. Available now through Memorial Day weekend, the bottles dressed in red white & blue and feminine pink & navy seriously had me at hello!  Instant  bar cart essentials, that will dress up your entertaining space, and add ultimate chicness to your summer cocktail lineup.

 First up the light and sparkling cocktail in “red”, with a fitting name of Cape Code Fizz. A mix of cranberry, tart lime and a hint of light sweetness, finished with Chandon Rosé.

Description

A refreshing summer sparkler with light bubbles, balanced tartness, and a hint of sweet.

Ingredients

Scale 1x2x3x

• 1/2 ounce (3 teaspoons) simple syrup
• 1 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
• 2 oz cranberry juice
• 3 ounces Chandon Rosé
• Frozen cranberries
• Lime peel.

Instructions

1. Mix together simple syrup, lime juice and cranberry juice in a cocktail glass.
2. Stir.
3. Add ice & frozen cranberries.
4. Top with Chandon Rosé.
5. Garnish with lime peel.
6. Cheers!

 To complete our patriotic theme in  “white & blue”  our 2nd sparkler plays on the classic Shandy.

 Ginger and a splash of lemon, finished with Chandon Brut Classic and garnished with blueberries.

Ingredients

Scale 1x2x3x

• 2 oz Lemonade
• 1 tsp Ginger beer
• 2 oz Chandon Brut Classic
• Fresh blueberries (for color), candied ginger and a halved lime wheel

Cook Mode Prevent your screen from going dark

Instructions

1. Pour lemonade into a glass.
2. Add the ginger beer.
3. Stir.
4. Top with ice, a few blueberries (optional) and Chandon Brut Classic.
5. Garnish with lime and ginger.
6. Cheers!

 I’ll be serving both of these easy to make beverages at my 4th of July celebration, with the color dipped drink stirrers I shared here yesterday, for a posh finishing touch!
