Accessories Of The Day

Happy Friday eve! It’s hard to believe we’re now half way through February, with only a short month until Spring. Who else is ready? Although we’ve had a mild winter, with very little snow, I’m so looking forward to the warmer temps, sunshine and of course the fresh blooms that Spring brings.  Usually my girls, hubby and I plan a warm weather getaway towards the end of winter, but because we’re building our new home, we’ve made the decision to hold off until completion. With that said, it’s no wonder Winter is dragging on…(strong emphasis on dragging).

Since I’m totally feeling the effects of the cold and dreary days, I’m relying on some pretty little accessories to brighten up my space, at least until the sunshine comes back for a while.

Fresh blooms are at the top of the list because they’re reminding me that the new season is near.  Marble everything because my space is super dark, with tons of cherrywood and yeah, those Cafe mocha colored walls. Le sigh.  The next best thing to real macarons are these darling macaron boxes with gold details (I think I need one in every color, but two shall do for now.) And last but not least some silver jewels, and a pretty little crystal perfume bottle that had me at hello. 

Feeling inspired, I styled a quick photo, that hopefully brightens your days as much has it has mine. Now we just need Spring to hurry up!!
