It’s already been one month since we celebrated my youngest’s birthday. One whole month since my baby turned 6, but I’m excited to finally have the post ready to share!
Our Bottega Louis inspired Macaron Birthday party was one for the books! Complete with two celebrations in one day, more macarons that we could count (or eat) and plenty of sweet moments.
We celebrated the first party gymnastics style, with little friends! It was short and sweet, with cupcakes, macarons, a light lunch and lots of time on the equipment.
We followed it up with a celebration at our home with family!
Since our party was inspired by all things Bottega Louis, there was plenty of pink decor. From the balloons, to the desserts, the macaron tower, gift boxes and the blooms. I got to make everything from the custom confetti to the rose centerpieces, all of the desserts and the balloon banner. I even made a Letter M Cookie Cake! Fitting for our macaron theme and our Mila.
DECORATIONS:
The main centerpiece on our dessert table was this hand-made french macaron tower. I actually made the tower the month prior, as part of a collaboration and held onto it until the party. To change the original look of the tower and incorporate more pink, I used fresh roses. Of course by the time we used the tower it was no longer edible, but still looked gorgeous!
Tape quickly became my best friend while assembling our balloon banner. I had intentions of using fishing line and making the banner the proper way…but ran out of time. so I had to resort to putting it together with tape! Honestly nobody even noticed. Talk about an unexpected and quick party hack!
The gold #6 balloon was a fun contrasting addition to all the pink on the table.
There’s honestly nothing I love more than fresh flowers at a party!
I found a variety of blush and pink roses from Costco and Trader Joes that I simply arranged to display around our home.
To capture the look Bottega Louis, I stacked and wrapped boxes in pink ribbon and displayed on our dessert table. I also used a variety of cake stands to display our treats.
The custom macaron confetti was one of our favorite party details. The sweet macaron shapes and personalized names added such a fun finishing touch to the celebration! Check the shop for this custom confetti soon!
In addition to creating the decor, I had so much fun dreaming up and putting together the desserts for the party. I truly enjoy creating parties from start to finish! It’s something that I take pride and look forward to every year for my girls! I make all of the desserts dairy free because Mila has sensitivities to dairy as do I.

I also made Mila a mini cake that we got to present this to her as we sang happy birthday! These mini cakes have turned into a tradition for us with each birthday that we celebrate!
The sugar cookies and cookie cake were made using custom cookie cutter shapes that are available in my shop!
In addition to desserts, we served homemade raspberry lemonade and sparkling water for refreshments. We ate Thai infused fresh rolls, sushi, salad and salmon for dinner.
PARTY FAVORS
I’ve always loved the way macarons are packaged when ordered at a patisserie! I wanted to recreate a similar look for our party favors. Each guest left the party with pink dessert boxes, personalized with their names in gold calligraphy. In each satin ribbon tied box were macaron squishies, macaron storage containers, lipgloss and some candy.
This was such a lovely way to thank our guests for joining us!
And the best moment of all, was the permanent smile on sweet girl’s face! I live for moments like these and I’m so glad we were able to create such a memorable day for her! I know it’s one she’ll always remember it!
Happy 6th birthday to my girl!
