Kittenvites + 4 Year Photos

Later this month we’ll be celebrating my sweet M as she turns 4 years old! Our party theme as you may have already seen, is “Spring Kitten” and will include plenty of floral and kitty decor in fitting spring pastels. 

In April, we did a quick shoot for M’s 4 year photos and birthday invites! This has become somewhat of a tradition, as I’ve been photographing and creating my daughter’s party invitations since they were born. It’s something that I truly look forward to as each year comes and it’s also fun to look back and compare and see how much they’ve grown.

Our party color scheme is inspired by M’s floral dress that we found at Target. She’s  also wearing gold strap sandals from target and the cutest kitten headband from H&M.

The kitten headbands have flowers pinned to the top for a kitten floral crown look. I’ve since DIY’d them with faux flowers from Michaels + hot glue which you can see in the invite reveal below.

In an attempt to not over post photos of my sweetie, here are a few more of my favorite captures in the pretty floral dress from Target.{LOOK 2}

For M’s second look, she wore a white knee-length dress and adorable blue flats from Old Navy + that Kitty headband again.

We found cat eye sunglasses at H&M which tie in perfectly with our theme. I also painted her nails pink and drew on little whiskers with a white nail polish pen.

And last but not least, M’s kittenvitations, designed by yours truly. Simple and sweet, complete with floral inspiration from M’s birthday dress {look 1} and whiskers of course! I made all the invites in photo shop and printed pink leopard onto the envelopes. We sealed  each envelope with gold washi tape.

As you can see, the kitty ears now have flowers attached. Oh and I’ve been DIYing yarn balls for 4 days now!
