Seven

Seven years ago today my first daughter was born and I became a mama for the first time. I can’t believe I’m saying that. Where does the time go and how on earth does it move so fast? Although bittersweet to see her grow a year older, I truly admire and adore the beautiful girl she has become. Both inside and out.

My sweet girl has the biggest heart and cares very much about people and doing the right thing.

She’s compassionate, creative, artistic and a wonderful big sister and friend. She’s a star reader and student and in her own words, “loves to learn” and absolutely loves Beanie Boos and animals…hence the reason for our Beanie Boo Party theme.

She also loves taking photos (like her mama) and being my subject. I’m so glad I’ve been able to stand behind the camera, capturing her adorable smile and personality year after year.

For our quick bday photo sesh, she wore a pink sleeveless top from Old Navy, a pom pom tutu from Target, (which totally reminds me of ice cream) and pink jellies, also from Old Navy.

Her polka-dot manicure was done by grandma!

When I ask my girl what she wants to be when she grows up, she still says a Veterinarian and a Baker. It will be interesting to see if she sways from that in the near future.
