Tulips
Every year as spring arrives my hubby and I take our girls to see the tulips in bloom in Skagit Valley. We’ve been doing this since my oldest turned 1 year old and it’s become one of those traditions that we look forward to every year. I’m all about traditions and I love being able to create special memories and have bonding time with my girls. Although they’re both loving the tulips now, I’m sure at some point as they grow older, they might roll their eyes at the idea of kneeling down and taking photos in fields of blooming flowers…so I’ll take advantage while they’re young and while I can still get away with it.
Can we talk about this view for a minute?!

The scenery at what’s known as “Tulip Town” is simply breathtaking. As a lover of flowers, there’s nothing that quite compares to seeing thousands of fresh blooms in an array of hues, lined in rows, upon rows, upon rows. Seriously like a dream come true!
We toured the fields, stopped to “smell” the blooms and of course took plenty of photos.
Pink was our color of choice.

Sister love.

A flowy kimono over a white blouse and denim was perfect for the warm 70 degree temps we experienced. Definitely couldn’t have picked a better day to go!
A few of my favorite momma daughter moments…
because you can never have too many of them.

If you’re local to PNW or ever plan to visit the area in April, be sure to visit the tulips and Tulip Town in Skagit valley. It’s totally worth the trip!
Happy Tuesday and thanks for reading! I’ve got a few spring projects in the works that I look forward to sharing soon!
