Kicking off the new week with a light and refreshing Grapefruit French 75. This combination of citrus with gin and the sparkling champagne is such a refreshing sip, especially during spring! Although the French 75 is traditionally made with lemon juice, there are many variations to the classic cocktail, such as grapefruit which adds bright and tart notes and a pretty soft pink color too. Just 4 ingredients is all you need for this recipe! Simply shake, pour, sip and enjoy!

Easy simple syrup
This simple syrup is very easy to make from scratch and can be used in many ways! To keep the sugar content a little lighter, use 1/4 cup raw sugar per cup of water and heat the mixture together in a pot until is begins to boil. Allow to boil for 1-2 minutes max, then remove from heat and cool. Store in the fridge for 2-3 days.
