Posh Macarons – 2016
Happy Tuesday! I hope you’re all feeling ready to get back into the swing of things! I wanted to start the work week off by highlighting one of my favorite blogging collaborations from 2016.
In spring of last year, I had the opportunity to develop a few special macaron recipes for Best Friends for Frosting and their gorgeous blog! I created a Strawberry Macaron Sparkler, made with rosรฉ, fresh strawberry pureรฉ and a few more sweet ingredients.
The sparkler tastes just like a strawberry macaron, with the cutest mini macaron garnish. A cocktail must for your upcoming celebrations!

I also shared my recipe for Mini Strawberry & Rosรฉ Macarons over on BFFF. These darling little pint-sized macs are perfect for topping cupcakes, cocktails and cakes. Or just enjoying as they are.
Be sure to add them to your upcoming party menus!

Since macarons have become a Posh Little Designs staple, I thought it would be fun to reference back to a few of my favs. Both recipes truly represent my current point of view and are a big part of my focus for 2017.
And for a little posh history, the first time I tried macarons was in 2012, at Le Panier Bakery in Seattle. I made my first homemade batch of macs for my daughter’s Paris themed 1st birthday shortly after, and have been making them since. Almost 4 years now!
Plan to see more macarons and post like this from me in the year ahead!
And be sure to stop by Best Friends for Frosting‘s blog for the sweet recipes. I’ve referenced links to both in the titles above.
