Nutella Popsicles
The warmer temps are finally arriving, so I recently tested out our new popsicle mold, which is shaping up to be my best investment of the season so far. Who doesn’t love popsicles in the summer? Especially when they taste like Nutella. Since I don’t get to enjoy Nutella from the jar (dairy), I made Nutella inspired popsicles, using real hazelnut milk, a little Hazelnut Coconutmilk Creamer from So Delicious Dairy Free and dark cocoa powder. Just three vegan ingredients blended together make up this dreamy chocolate hazelnutty concoction.
They say nutella from the jar is often enjoyed best with a spoon. Essentially, these pops are like nutella, frozen on a stick. No spoon involved but just as good.

If you’d like you can take things a decadent step further by dipping the pops in dark chocolate…

and topping with toasted hazelnuts for crunch and a little extra yum.

hello new favorite summer treat.

Nutella Popsicles
Description
A frozen blend of dark cocoa powder, hazelnut milk and So Delicious Hazelnut creamer make up these frozen dessert pops, that taste just like Nutella. (Vegan, Dairy Free)
Ingredients
- 4 cups Hazelnut Milk
- 1/3 cup So Delicious Hazelnut Coconut Creamer (for sweetness)
- 1/4 cup dark cocoa powder
- Melted pure dark chocolate
- Chopped toasted hazelnuts
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat together hazelnut milk, and cocoa powder and whisk until blended.
- Stir in So Delicious Hazelnut coconut creamer and remove from heat.
- Allow to cool.
- Transfer cooled mix into 6 popsicle molds and freeze.
- Insert your popsicle sticks into each mold 45 minutes into freezing.
- Continue to freeze for at least another hour, or until solid.
- Once your popsicles are frozen, melt your dark chocolate into drinking cup or mug.
- Remove your popsicles from their cavity 1 at a time by dipping in a bowl of warm water.
- Dip your popsicle into your dark chocolate and quickly top with toasted hazelnuts. I say quickly because the chocolate dries within seconds.
- Place your finished pops onto a parchment lined baking sheet and put back into the freezer until ready to serve.
Notes
- I layered a few of my pops with the nutella mix and then the plain hazelnut milk for variation. This is totally optional and easy to do. Simply fill your popsicle mold half way full with the nutella mix. Allow time to freeze, then pour the hazel nut milk on top of the frozen nutella mix. Freeze and enjoy.

Toasting hazelnuts really brings out their flavor and adds an extra nuttiness and texture to these dessert pops.

The hazelnut coconut milk creamer gives the popsicles a light sweetness with no other sugars added.

My next mission is to make my own homemade nutella. Dairy free of course. I’m gonna test some recipes and I’ll let you know how that turns out.

Thank you all for reading. I hope you give these sweet and simple popsicles a try. When things are quiet here, you can check in with me on instagram and snapchat: @poshlitldsigns.
