Description

A light a refreshing tequila cocktail made with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, cranberry juice, club soda and a sugared cranberry garnish. Perfect for the holiday season.


Ingredients

FOR THE CRANBERRY PALOMA

  • Ice
  • Splash of lime
  • 3 parts tequila (1.5 parts each)
  • 4 parts fresh squeezed grapefruit juice (2 each)
  • 2 parts cranberry juice (1 part each)
  • 1 part simple syrup (1/2 part each glass)
  • Top with club soda
  • Coarse salt and sugared cranberries, rosemary for garnish.

FOR THE SIMPLE SYRUP

  • 1 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

FOR THE SIMPLE SYRUP

  1. Place water and sugar in pot over medium high heat. Bring water and sugar to a boil. Allow to boil for 2-3 minutes until sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat to cool.

FOR THE CRANBERRY PALOMA

  1. Rub the rim of each glass with fresh grapefruit. Roll in coarse salt.
  2. Place ice cubes into each salted rim glass.
  3. Pour equal parts tequila (1.5 parts), fresh squeezed grapefruit juice (2 parts) and cranberry juice (1 part) Simple syrup (1/2 part) over ice, in each glass. 
  4. Top with club soda and a splash of lime.
  5. Garnish with premade sugared cranberries and rosemary for a festive touch. 
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
