Lillet Rosé Spritz
One of the things I love to do (all the time,) but especially during the warmer months is entertain.
Now that June’s here and the weather is heating up, we’re looking forward to throwing plenty of small gatherings, because during this time of year, not much compares to sunshine, good company and elegant cocktails. —
Speaking of cocktails, just this past weekend I invited company over for some much needed catchup time.
I served a late afternoon aperitif featuring Lillet Rosé, which instantly transported us to the sidewalk cafe’s of France.
Lillet Rosé from the Bordeaux Region of France, is an elegant wine blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle + orange and fruit liqueurs.
The Aperitif is commonly enjoyed and served in the late afternoons and early evenings before a meal, with light fruit flavors and floral aromas. Yes, it’s refreshing on its own, but pair’s quite beautifully with seasonal fruits and herbs, making this quintessential aperitif ideal for mid-day sipping and entertaining!
The simple Lillet Rosé Spritz that I made over the weekend, came courtesy of Lillet’s Brand Ambassador. It’s a concoction including Belvoir Elderflower and Rose, grapefruit slices and sage, and is truly a must try! Reminds me of summer in a glass complete with all the aromas and flavors that we love so much this time of year.
