Happy Monday! I’m slowly easing back into the swing of things with my right hand. Last week I received a custom splint and started my PT, so I’m moving in the right direction. It’s been 3 weeks since my surgery and I’ve been itching to get back into the kitchen and bake! With all the new cookie cutters that I designed earlier this year, it’s been on my list of to do’s to try them out.
Happy Wednesday you guys! I thought it would be fun to kick off the summer’s arrival with some sweet summer themed treats by Tiffany of Baking With Best.
Occasionally, I like to feature the lovely and talented bakers I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with over on Instagram. You might recall me sharing Tiffany’s bow cookies here before, and this time around, she’s made some sweet summer themed cookies using cutters from my shop. Not only are they adorable, but they’re super fitting for summertime and also perfect for upcoming parties you might have in the works.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend! I’m back with another sweet feature, that’s fitting for all my fashionistas! Handbags and Chanel in sugar cookie form, designed to perfection by the fabulous OCD_Obsessive_Cookie_Designer.
These quilted purse cookies that she created are decorated in the prettiest shades of blue royal icing, and inspired by MZ Wallace handbags, which I totally need to own now.
Hope you’re all having a great Thursday!! I have a few fabulous collaborations in the works that I can’t wait to tell you about, and I’m also happy to announce that I’ll be starting a new baking and party themed series here on posh.
As most of you know, my shop makes up a huge part of my company and I’m excited to bring more of that side of the business to the blog! With the new series I’ll be sharing some of the stylish products just in, chic baking & party inspo, features and more!
Hoping you all had a lovely Friday! My weekend was instantly made when these custom cookies with the brand new Posh Little Designs Logo showed up at my door.
My talented friend Khadijah from Babycakes Couture hand designed them and sent them out to me to celebrate all the recent changes occurring with my brand. I’m absolutely obsessing over them and I’m sure you understand why.
Following up yesterday’s post with a lovely Valentine inspired treat! A take on an old classic with a modern twist shaded in pale pink. The recipe is simple, but the flavor is fabulous and all you need to make them is the Berry Sugar blends from yesterday’s DIY post. Just simply add it to your favorite sugar cookie and you’ve got a match made in heart’s day heaven! The berry flavor although subtle is all this cookie needs. No icing necessary just a few sprinkles for a festive finishing touch!
Happy Friday everyone and happy Summer Solstice!
To kick off the very first day of my favorite season, I’ve put together a collection of some of the summer worthy baking accessories available now in the Posh Etsy Boutique.
Why cookie cutters you might ask? Well they’re perfect for creating memorable party treats and come in variety of shapes and styles so you can tie in your themes and concepts. My favorite treat to make with the cutters is the sugar cookie, which has become a signature posh goodie that I serve at all my celebrations.
It’s Wednesday today and that means we have just a few days before the weekend. I’m looking forward to it because Cinco de Mayo is coming up this Sunday! How will you be celebrating? There’s supposed to be 70 degree temps this week in the NW, so we’ll take full advantage of the holiday and the sunshine, with an afternoon outdoors and a margarita or two. Margaritas just happen to be one of my favorite summer drinks and with the upcoming arrival of the holiday, I thought of a fun way to transform this refreshing beverage into treat form. Oh yes, I’ve taken my favorite sugar cookie recipe and jazzed it up with some fresh lime juice, sea salt and a dash of Patron. I also made the cookies using a dairy free butter, which was not the greatest idea because I ended up eating more of these cookies than I probably should have. They really are that good!
We’ve finally been experiencing some warmer weather here at home but over the weekend I chose to stay indoors. For some reason I was in a total mood for baking so I spent most of my Saturday and Sunday creating in the kitchen and coming up with concepts for next weekend’s Easter celebration. I love when my schedule allows spare time for this and I also love that my hubby was nice enough to take my daughters out for the afternoon so I could create in peace and quiet.
For the last few years we have allowed our oldest daughter to choose a theme for her birthday celebration and this year she was adamant about having a Cinderella party. With theme in mind, and gathered inspiration, I created my interpretation of a Royal Ball. The day turned out to be nothing short of posh. In fact, just like Cinderella’s glass slipper, it was the perfect fit for our little princess!
