I’m Brandi! Mommy of 2, and the owner and writer behind Posh Little Designs (PLD), a site dedicated to my love for entertaining, celebrations, and all things sweet, chic and stylish.
To give you a little history, I first discovered my true passion for celebrations while planning my wedding in 2005. I fell in love with every moment of the process, and from that point my passion for entertaining and hosting events evolved. Although I didn’t start my blog until 2011, it was certainly a long time in the making. After having my first daughter, I was finally able to begin dedicating some much need time to my creative side, which quickly blossomed into so much more! You’ll discover in many of the personal posts I share, that my husband and daughter’s inspire me and Posh in so many ways. We recently discovered that my youngest has an intolerance to dairy and soy products, which is why many of my recipes are vegan and free of lactose.
As far as what you can expect, I really just aim to share with you what’s on my heart, or the latest ideas on my mind. Genuine posts about my lovely life, and the ways I live it, one celebration and idea at a time. I absolutely adore holidays, even the smallest, because it’s just one more reason…or excuse rather, for me to celebrate, so you’ll notice many of my posts are centered around holidays and also current trends. You’ll see plenty of recipes and DIY’s in celebratory themes of course, some real parties I’ve hosted and mood boards as well as a few random in-betweens, all displaying my signature posh touch.
3 years ago when I started PLD, it was simply to be used as a creative outlet, but today it has become so much more! In 2012 I opened my baking and party supply shop which keeps me incredibly busy on the side, and I’ve also branched out into vending and sponsoring at events! Many of my products available for purchase have been featured in posts seen here, which you can shop via Posh Little Designs on Etsy. I’m in the process of expanding the shop and making many changes which I look forward to sharing with you in the coming weeks!
Thanks so much for visiting! I hope you stay a while and come back again, as I’ve always got fresh concepts to share!
